Where you are

The mine sits in the Amansie area of Ghana's Ashanti Region, on the Asankrangwa Gold Belt - one of West Africa's most promising and still under-explored gold belts. Asanko holds the largest landholding on it.

Who runs it

Asanko is part of Galiano Gold Inc., based in Vancouver, Canada - but the people running the mine day to day are almost entirely Ghanaian. International standards, delivered by people who know the ground.
